Warranty Regulation

At Guitar Factory, to ensure our customers can use our products with peace of mind, we offer a one-year product warranty from the date of purchase for products that meet the following conditions.

Products covered by warranty

Products that meet all of the following conditions are covered by the warranty:

  • Products purchased within the last year
  • Products that can be verified to have been purchased from an authorized retailer or our official online store.
  • Products that our company has determined to be defective

*Initial defects are only covered if you contact us within 7 days of receiving the product.

Warranty Coverage Details

For products covered under warranty, we will handle the issue in one of the following ways:

  • Product repair
  • Readjust as needed
  • Replacement with the same or equivalent product.

*The appropriate course of action will be determined by our company, taking into consideration the product's condition, inventory status, manufacturing status, etc.

Cases where the warranty does not apply

The following cases may result in the product being ineligible for warranty coverage (either requiring a fee or being unavailable), even within the warranty period :

  • If a warranty card is not attached, or if proof of purchase such as a delivery slip or receipt is not provided,
  • Malfunctions or damage caused by use contrary to the instruction manual or precautions.
  • Damage caused by external factors such as dropping, impact, water exposure, and foreign object contamination.
  • Cosmetic damage such as a broken neck, peeling paint, and rust on metal parts.
  • Deformation, cracking, and other damage caused by environmental changes such as temperature and humidity.
  • Deterioration of consumable parts and components (e.g., batteries, strings, potentiometers, switches, jacks, footswitches, faders, etc.)
  • If modifications, disassembly, adjustments, painting, etc. by the customer are found to have occurred.
  • Products that show signs of having been repaired or modified by a party other than our company.
  • Damage caused by natural disasters such as fire, earthquake, lightning, and flood.
  • Malfunctions and compatibility issues caused by connections with other devices, as well as subjective dissatisfaction with sound quality, subjective perceptions, etc.
  • Damage caused by a malfunction in the connected equipment.

Regulations regarding repairs

  • Repairs will generally be handled by sending the product to our designated address.
  • We may refuse to repair products sent without prior notice, or products that have been disassembled or modified.
  • During repairs, we may use replacement parts or substitute products with equivalent functionality and performance.
  • Parts removed during repairs will not be returned.
  • A 3-month extended warranty will be provided for the repaired parts after completion (excluding items not covered by the warranty).
  • We do not provide replacement devices during the repair period.
  • We cannot accept any responsibility for any secondary damages, such as business losses, data loss, or emotional distress, resulting from product malfunctions.

How to request repairs

  • If you require repairs, please contact the store where you purchased the product or our support desk.
  • We will contact you by phone or email to confirm the situation and then guide you through the repair process and return address.
  • We may refuse to accept or process returned items that have not been pre-registered.

Regarding shipping costs

The shipping costs for repairs and warranty claims will be as follows:

  • In case of initial defects (defects reported within 7 days of product arrival)
    → We will cover both the return and return shipping costs.
  • For normal repairs within the warranty period (excluding initial defects) and for cases outside the warranty period or deemed ineligible for warranty coverage
    , the customer is responsible for the return shipping costs to our company, while we will cover the shipping costs for reshipping the product after the repair is completed.
  • For other returns due to customer reasons
    , etc., the customer will be responsible for the return shipping costs to our company.
